On Wednesday me and the girls came back from story time and found our house flooded! I walked inside and heard a dripping sound and started looking everywhere. I went upstairs and the bathroom floor was covered in water! Oh great!!! The wierd thing... nothing was in the toilet that would have made it overflow. So we mopped it all up and went back downstairs. I noticed my feet were getting wet and I thought it was because we had tracked in snow or something until I realized me and Chloe both had soaking wet socks! What the heck? I guess when the toilet flooded it went through the heater vents and eventually to the downstairs carpet! Nasty! Jerry sucked up water all night with the rugdoctor. It took forever and it stunk so bad! We had to move all of our furniture downstairs into the kitchen. Since we couldn't be downstairs at all and our kitchen was useless we decided to spent Thursday night at the Crystal Inn! Chloe was in heaven! She gets so excited, even though we are still in the same town! :) She was wide eyed the whole time and then when we got to the room she says "Daddy, this is the awesomest room I ever saw" Here is some fun pics from our night out. I'm glad we got to do something fun, just the four of us before Jerry started classes again but please please please toilet don't do that again!!!

Oh We are so sorry-man that stinks to get floaded, but good thing for Jerry and the rug cleaner uper, and so fun that you were able to get away with your cute little family and do something fun out of a not so fun situation!

I am so sorry you got flooded! That is so strange. Is John being helpful at all? If you want the number for those guys that do the carpets when you move out for like $95 let me know.
Oh yuck! That is absolutely no fun! Well, except for the going to a hotel and playing in the pool. That part sounded fun. :) Abbie looked adorable in her little swimsuit! So cute! Glad you could get some fun out of a crappy situation. :)

I feel for you! At least you got to go do something fun. Your Girls are so stinkin' Cute, I'm on my way to steal them right now! Just Kidding, but they are sooo cute. Abbie looks like she's excited to go try the water out, how'd she do? Oh by the way when we have a flooded room, we can usually find the little Elf or Elves that did the trick...they usually tattle on each other.
That sucks that it flooded that bad. I hope that you got it cleaned up enough that it doesn't smell anymore. It is a fun excuse to go to Crystal Inn and swim. The girls are really cute.
