Don't you just love it when your kids do things that reminds you of yourself?
I have to admit that Chloe is alot more like Jerry than me. She laughs like Jerry, likes his TV shows (yes she loves CSI), likes most of the same foods as him, she loves his "shootin guns"... the list goes on. Here is a cute pic of one of the things they love to do together... SLEEP! :)
But... yesterday we were having lunch and I realized that this came just from me! :) Anyone who knew me when I was younger knows how much I LOVED velveeta shells and cheese! (Who am I kidding... I still love it) Well, Chloe is just like me. She could eat this stuff for every meal. I don't buy it alot because its like triple the price of regular mac and cheese so its a luxury at our house. She calls it "the other one mac and cheese". She cries for it everytime we are in the store. I love that she likes it just as much as me. We could eat the whole pan... just me and her!
On a side note: Chloe said the funniest thing last night... her friend/cousin next door just happens to have the middle name John. Well, sometimes when his mom and dad talk to him they say his full name. Chloe last night got mad at me for some reason, she looked at me and said UGH... MOMMY JOHN! It took me a second to realize what she was saying, then I just had to laugh... who knew she was paying that much attention! :)

she is such a cutie. I love the Mommy John story. It always makes me laugh to see what things kids pick up on. Madison's new thing is to call her Daddy Karl.

This age is the best! They say the funniest things. I love to see what my kids have in common with me and Jared too. It is so fun.
How Funny! What cute Pictures too! I think it's great when they like things just like us and it kind of bonds ya together. Way cute and fun! I love the line about calling you "Mommy John" I've heared several of the Kids, from her, Gavyn, and Corbin say the same type of things to each other. I think not to long ago Corbin called Chloe "Chloe Michael Haws", just to get her attention. It was pretty funny. I had to stop him and explain that Michael was Gavyn's Middle name, not Chloes. Chloe responded with "I'm Chloe Jo". He's still trying to figure out that every one has a different middle name. He switches Aidan's all the time too. It's a good laugh!
First of all, that "Mommy John" thing is hysterical! I love that! Second of all, Amber and I LOVE shells and cheese (and if you buy the great value brand at walmart it's a lot cheaper than velveeta and just as good. still quite a bit more than regular mac&cheese of course). And third of all, I have those same bowls that Chloe was eating out of!
