Wednesday was Chloe's actual birthday so we decided to give her a party with all of her neighbor friends. Chloe loves when her friends come over to play so we invited everyone over for cake and ice cream. The kids had a blast running around and destroying Chloe's room and all us mom's got some time to chat! It was so fun! Thanks everyone who came! You made Chloe's birthday GREAT! Two of my sisters and my mom came too so a few of Chloe's cousins were here. She had the best time, she is still talking about it!
She actually understood the concept of blowing out the candle this year. She did it all by herself with a little bit of help from her friend Calem... aren't kids funny!
Later that night Jerry made her favorite dinner... his minestrone soup. She absolutely loves it! She doesn't eat much but she will eat a whole bowl of this stuff and ask for more!
Long story short, she had an awesome birthday! I'm sure if she could she would say thanks to all my friends for coming to play and thanks to my daddy for the special dinner! Of course birthdays are celebrated all week right? So we are having another party for her family on Saturday where she will get to see all her cousins! Some of them she doesn't see very often so we are excited!

Oh Chloe....She is a cutie! Can you beleive that she is 2. WOW - it looks like she knows how to party hard. We had fun at the family party... Good job! PS I love the new look of the blog too :).
Sounds like Chloe was spoiled to the max, just like she should be, and had a great time all the while. It's cute she loves Jerry's soup so much! You'll have to send me the recipe, is it the one from Grandma Haws that he changed up a bit? We had a great time celebrating with Chloe!
